Well-known on RIA 89.7FM as a controversial and sensational critic, an intelligent thinker who is not afraid to speak his mind and able to invoke thought-provoking and sometimes, fiery responses from fellow listeners. Have since evolved into a distinguished blogger of reputable claim with takes on the Malay entertainment industry and football-related matters. Brutally honest and believes in only reporting the truth as he sees, hears or experience it. Self-styled critic who does not mince his words and is definitely a non-conformist.

Once aspired to be a producer / presenter with Mediacorp Radio, an entertainer and even a national footballer at different stages in life. Through different life experiences, he found his calling as a critic in the Malay entertainment industry, having worked as an intern at Mediacorp Radio, having mixed with local and regional artistes, listing attending awards shows and concerts (local and in Malaysia) as one of his favourite pastimes, and generally for his love in music as a whole.

The name “Pujangga Malam™” was derived when he was searching for a suitable online nickname and to participate in discussions on radio. “Pujangga” was picked as it represents someone who is always thinking and looking at things in various perspectives, and then translating it into lyrical poetry. And as the idea was conceived at night, the word “Malam” was naturally added in. But people still affectionately know him as just “PM“…

Besides being a self-styled critic, his favourite pastimes include spending time surfing the Net for news and views around the world, playing his Playstation 2™ games, reading magazines and above all, his love for the sport he calls “Football” (He despises the word “Soccer” as only the Americans use it). Never a day when he does not think about his favourite team, Manchester United. And never a day too that he will not clam up from singing. Of late, he has found joy in rekindling a childhood pastime - collecting authentic M.A.S.K. toys.

Like a wine connoisseur, he appreciates the beauty of life, and of course the beauty of the opposite gender. But do not for once think he is a modern day “Cassanova“. He is still truly loyal and happily married to his teenage sweetheart and blessed with two beautiful daughters; Syahindah Adawiyah & Syadiyah Asyura. Indeed, his life is complete with magnificent friends, a loving family and the blessings showered by Allah Almighty. Well, not exactly complete as he is still yearning for that elusive degree which would take him places in life…

Writing has always been one of his greatest flairs ever since primary school, as he dances to the merry tune of the thoughts that fill his head. Prefers to express himself with carefully crafted words, rather than through spontaneous speeches. Through structured proses, he believes that people might be able to understand his reasonings, logic and mindset. This blog represents his life journey, recording the happy moments as well as reflecting over the negative ones.

Da’ KRUsader’s Manor™ has come a long way since its inception in 2004, gaining a respectable number of visitorship daily. Seeing a surge in readership was one of the reasons to upgrade and host a domain name (www.pujanggamalam.com) and through this, he hopes that his loyal readers would continue to visit his humble abode from time to time.
